Season 3 Trailer
Hey, it’s been a while. And I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to just ghost you. It’s just kind of happened.

And I could pull up any number of excuses. I could try to explain my absence way in any number of ways. But I’m not going to do that.
I will be plain with you, although I am not sure where the actual beginning of the story is. The story I was trying to tell you is. And the one that I need to tell you now about why I was away for so long. Honestly, you’d think I know, right? That’s part of being a podcaster after all. I had to design the show, write out a description, write the actual show etc, etc, but in this case, it’s a lot more complicated than that. And I can’t tell you why. And frankly, I’m a bit relieved that no one has seemingly put it together. Takes a weight off my shoulders, I’ll tell you that much.
But that story I was reading to you before… Well, there’s a lot more to it. For a while, I was going back and forth on whether or not to share the rest of it. But you know, there was a complication. Namely that it wasn’t any good. And that doesn’t surprise you, right? Like you heard parts of it, awhile ago, yes, but the files are still up. You can go back and listen if you don’t believe. But generally speaking there were some glaring problems with that story. First and foremost, that the characters weren’t named. They just had titles and a family tree. And also everything was super matter-of-factly, which isn’t bad but not entirely consistent with my style. So that feels like an issue even if it isn’t.
In the end, after so much time mulling over a question that just objectively does not matter, I decided that you needed to hear the rest of that story. It’s more relevant than you know. And even if that weren’t the case, this podcast was more about me than it was anyone else. That felt like it came out wrong. There are other people involved, sure. I featured one in the title of this podcast, but they’re not here to influence my decision on whether I make this podcast. Or what this show will continue to be. Ultimately, it was for me. It’s about me, and I have this story to share, in various versions. I have a lot I want to tell you, even if I couldn’t be upfront about it.
So I rewrote the story, and I’m pretty sure I’ve fixed everything. For the most part.
(Music fades out and new music fades in)
There’s a lot I could say, but I’ll start saying it on May 1st. Mark your calendars.
